There are many orthodontic systems used to straighten teeth. The Inman Aligner is one of them and is a modern, safe, ultra-fast and removable brace, which is able to straighten front teeth in less than 13 weeks.
The Inman Aligner uses a clear plastic retainer with two spring loaded aligning bars to fit easily over the front four teeth. The Inman Aligner provides a constant gentle pressure on the teeth helping ease them back into the desired position quickly.
Apart from its aesthetic benefits, the Inman Aligner is easy to use and can be inserted and removed at any time, allowing the usual eating and brushing, to continue as normal. Once teeth have moved to the desired position, a very discreet retainer holds them in place, so they remain in their new position.
During the first consultation, an impression is made of the teeth and in the second, teeth are smoothed to make room for movement and the aligner fitted. Once the teeth are straight you need to wear either a fixed or removable retainer to make sure the result is long lasting.
At Swish Dental, all your dental consultation we will provide you will all the information you need and answer any questions you may have.
As with any orthodontic appliance, the Aligner can feel a little uncomfortable for the first few days. After a week, most patients are used to their Aligner and have no problems wearing it.
The Inman Aligner will affect your speech for a week or two. You will however acclimatise to the appliances over time and be able to speak fine with them in place.
The Aligner will only work if you wear it everyday for the treatment time. Ideally patient should wear the Aligner for 20 hours a day maximum. Any less and the treatment could take longer to complete.
Inman aligner treatment represents excellent value for money. The cost of treatment may vary depending on the number of visits required and complexity of the case. Following a consultation with your dentist at Swish Dental, you will be given an indication of costs and treatment time.
If you have mild to moderate crowding or protrusion of your front teeth you may well be a suitable candidate for Inman Aligner treatment. Only a certified Inman Aligner dentist will be able to confirm suitability of each individual case.
